Trent Pryor, DMD

Jeff HigbeeDr. Trent Pryor was raised in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School. He obtained his pre-dental requirements at Southern Utah University. Dr. Pryor received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his 2-year pediatric specialty dental residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2009 and is a board-certified pediatric dentist.

Dr. Pryor grew up coaching youth sports programs and knew he wanted to be a positive influence in the life of child for the rest of his life. When not in the office, Dr. Pryor enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their three children. He also enjoys competing in triathlons as well as playing basketball, golf, and basically any other sporting activities.


Jeff Higbee, DMD

Trent PryorDr. Jeff Higbee was born in Utah and raised in the small town of Cedar City. He attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. His dental school training was completed at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.

After dental school, Dr. Higbee became a board-certified pediatric dentist by completing his 2-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Saint Joseph’s Hospital for specialty care in Providence, Rhode Island, where he served as chief pediatric dental resident in the final year of his training. During his specialty training, Dr. Higbee enjoyed treating patients from all over the world and especially enjoyed working with patients with special health care needs, including those with cleft lip and palate, autism, down syndrome, and many others conditions.

When Dr. Higbee is not in the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife, and four children. He loves the outdoors, being active in the community and coaching youth sports. One interesting thing about Dr. Higbee is that he is fluent in Spanish and enjoys using this special skill to better communicate with many of his patients who speak Spanish as their first language.

Our team members have the experience and friendly attitude needed to improve your child’s oral health and give them a happy dental experience at St. George Kids Dental. Lacey Vaughn—Office Manager

LaceyLacey grew up in Cedar City, and has moved around the state of Utah, finally settling in St. George. She loves the warm weather and enjoys spending a lot of time outdoors with her kids playing at the park, hiking, or just relaxing in the sun with a good book.

Lacey started her dental career shortly after high school. It helped support her through her five pregnancies and when raising her five beautiful children. Lacey spent the first eight years of her dental career in the back office as a dental assistant. She is very excited for the opportunity to be here at St. George Kids Dental to learn and grow in the front office. Her duties include scheduling, insurance coordination, treatment planning, and overall office management. She loves being able to help families coordinate their children’s dental needs and achieve great dental health for all of the amazing kids who come into our office.

Lacey has been a great addition to our team and we don’t know what we would do without her! She keeps us all on our toes and laughing throughout the day!


Randi Goodell—Registered Dental Hygienist


Cheyenne Sullivan—Pediatric Dental Assistant

LaceyCheyenne was born and raised in St. George and has been working for St. George Kids Dental as a pediatric dental assistant since the day the office opened! She has been dental assisting for almost five years now and loves everything it has to offer. Not only has she found a love for assisting, but also a new found love for working with children. Cheyenne graduated from Dixie State University with her Associate degree on high honor roll. When she isn’t working in the dental office, Cheyenne likes to spend her free time outdoors doing anything from camping, fishing, hunting, and riding horses to boating, surfing, and snowboarding. She recently married her high school sweetheart of 5 years, Kaden, and together they enjoy many of the same outdoor activities, and taking care of their 12 animals. Cheyenne looks forward to helping your children achieve better oral health and a happy smile.


Nicole Carlson—Scheduling Coordinator

LaceyNicole is a pediatric dental assistant at St. George Kids Dental where she enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them improve their oral health. She received her dental assisting certification in the state of Utah. Nicole is CPR/AED, first aid, and radiology-certified. She has been working in dentistry for over three years and has been with St. George Kids Dental since we opened in October 2014.


Nicole was born and raised in the great town of St. George, Utah, and loves all the area has to offer. She has an adoring, devoted husband that joins Nicole in her love for the outdoors. When not working, Nicole can be found camping, four-wheeling, and traveling with her family. She also enjoys cooking, baking, and doing crafts in her free time. Nicole is excited to announce that she will be having her first child in the summer of 2016 and she cannot wait to be a new mom. We are all so happy for her! Nicole has always had a love for kids and is eager to help serve your children at St. George Kids Dental.


Jessica Wolford—Front Desk Receptionist


Luz Tellez—Pediatric Dental Assistant

LaceyLuz was born and raised in St. George, Utah, and is someone whose positive energy and laughter is undoubtedly contagious. She is compassionate in nature and diligent in all endeavors. Luz enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and jamming out to Taylor Swift. When she was part of the organization Latinos in Action, Luz went to elementary schools to help children with their mathematic, writing, and reading skills and would volunteer during the summers to help out with summer school at Sandstone Elementary. Luz enjoys kids and loves their genuine, honest hearts. Luz is our bilingual team member and assists us in communicating with Spanish-speaking patients. Her time in the dental field has been brief, but nonetheless beneficial. She has the big aspirations of being a dental hygienist and has joined the St. George Kids Dental team in hopes of accomplishing said goals. She is a full-time student as well as bearing the responsibility of two jobs; so you can only imagine her work ethic! Luz is always smiling and making other staff members laugh! We love having her as a part of our team; our days would be boring without her.


Alexa Hunter—Pediatric Dental Assistant

LaceyAlexa was born and raised in Cedar City, UT. After graduating from Cedar High School she worked in General Dentistry for a little over a year before moving to St George to attend Dixie State University. Now working as a Pediatric Dental Assistant for a little over a year she has loved everything this field has to offer as well as getting to work with children. On her free time she enjoys doing just about anything outdoors from the lake up to the mountains. We love having Alexa as part of our team!!

Erin Thompson—Pediatric Dental Assistant

LaceyUnlike most of her coworkers, Erin Thompson was raised in Northern Utah. Northern Utah is where Erin found her love for dentistry. Shortly
after starting work as a dental assistant in Centerville, Utah, Erin moved to St. George in hopes of becoming a dental hygienist. Erin has earned an Associate of Arts degree and will apply to the dental hygiene program at Dixie State in January of 2018. Don’t be surprised if Erin makes your ice cream treats at one of the local Dairy Queens. She works a second job to earn money for school and is proud of the fact that she is putting herself through college. While Erin loves traveling to Mexico, Lake Powell, and the family cabins in Island Park, Idaho and Bear Lake, the real perk of living in St. George is that she is four hours closer to Disneyland! She is always scheming to make a trip there. Erin is a friend to everyone and loves children. So much so that she boasts “favorite aunt” status with her four nephews and brand new niece. Erin is very excited to be part of the St. George Kid’s Dental team and looks forward to helping your children achieve better oral health.
