Trent Pryor, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Trent Pryor was raised in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School. He obtained his pre-dental requirements at Southern Utah University. Dr. Pryor received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his 2-year pediatric specialty dental residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2009 and is a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Pryor grew up coaching youth sports programs and knew he wanted to be a positive influence in the life of child for the rest of his life. When not in the office, Dr. Pryor enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their four children. He also enjoys competing in triathlons as well as playing basketball, golf, and basically any other sporting activity.
Jeff Higbee, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Jeff Higbee was born in Utah and raised in the small town of Cedar City. He attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. His dental school training was completed at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
After dental school, Dr. Higbee became a board-certified pediatric dentist by completing his 2-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Saint Joseph’s Hospital for specialty care in Providence, Rhode Island, where he served as chief pediatric dental resident in the final year of his training. During his specialty training, Dr. Higbee enjoyed treating patients from all over the world and especially enjoyed working with patients with special health care needs, including those with cleft lip and palate, autism, down syndrome, and many others conditions.
When Dr. Higbee is not in the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife, and four children. He loves the outdoors, being active in the community and coaching youth sports. One interesting thing about Dr. Higbee is that he is fluent in Spanish and enjoys using this special skill to better communicate with many of his patients who speak Spanish as their first language.
T Jay Robinson, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
With a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of his patients through dentistry, Dr. T Jay thrives on helping children feel comfortable when they are in his dental chair.
As a father of three children, he understands the importance of compassion and patience when treating kids. Many years ago when he was in dental school, during a humanitarian trip to the Dominican Republic, Dr. T Jay realized the need for skilled pediatric dentists.
At that point he decided to focus his career on children’s dentistry. With more than a decade of experience, he continues to look forward to seeing each of his young patients – and helping them grow into healthy adults.

Lacey Sweetwood — Office Manager
Lacey grew up in Cedar City and has moved around the state of Utah, settling in St. George. She loves the warm weather and enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, playing at the park, hiking, and relaxing in the sun with a good book.
Lacey started her dental career shortly after high school and spent her first eight years in the back office as a dental assistant. She is now our office manager here at St. George Kids Dental. She loves being able to help families coordinate their children’s dental needs and achieve great dental health for all of the amazing kids who come into our office.
Lacey has been a great addition to our team, and we do not know what we would do without her! She keeps us all on our toes and laughing throughout the day!
Randi Goodell – Pediatric Dental Hygienist
Randi is from Bountiful, Utah, where she met her high school sweetheart, Chad. They moved to St. George so Randi could attend the dental hygiene program at DSU. When she is out of the office, she is either shopping or spending time outdoors with friends and family. Randi is with us full-time; she enjoys working with kids, and she loves the fact that her “job” consists of playing with children all day. One of her main goals is to make each patient feel like her best friend before they leave. We love having her around and the positive attitude she brings!
Erin – Pediatric Dental Hygienist
Paula Gee – Lead Assistant
Paula was born in Quito Ecuador, moved to Utah in 1999 and was raised here in Southern Utah.
She enjoys the little things in life and because of that she’s always laughing. You will probably find her smiling and laughing at the office. Paula graduated dental assisting school in 2016 and has been in dental ever since; worked in general for 2 years and was a sub after that in general and oral surgery to gain more experience.
She started working at St.George kids dental in 2019 and has loved every second of it.Outside of work Paula likes to watch tv shows and movies and most of all she likes to go on adventures with her family.
Alexa Hunter – Dental Assistant
Alexa was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah. After graduating from Cedar High and working in general dentistry for a year, she moved to St. George to attend Dixie State University. Now working as a pediatric dental assistant, she loves everything this field has to offer, as well as getting to work with children. Alexa enjoys doing just about anything outdoors, whether it is at the lake or up in the mountains. Alexa is a great addition to our team.
Eli Ramirez – Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Ramirez, I go by Eli, I grew up here at Saint George, Utah. I attended Dental School at Dental Essential and completed my Dental Assistants in 2017. From there I attended college at Dixie State University. I am bilingual, I’m fluent in Spanish. I love to spend time with my family and friends, I love to go off-roading and out to the lake riding four wheelers. I love working with young kids, my most rewarding part of this job is eliminating those fears and anxieties in young children. I love explaining what we’re doing in simple terms and helping them look forward to visiting our office.
Awhina – Dental Assistant
I’m Awhina, pronounced uh-fee-nuh. I’m half polynesian, born and raised in northern Utah. I’ve been a dental assistant for 3.5 years, who is passionate about dogs, traveling, and hanging out with friends. I love to help people feel good and show them how to take care of their teeth and gums. I’m a TV addict that can’t get enough of those intense action shows. If i’m not binge watching i’m usually out enjoying sunny St George or traveling to the nearest beach to work on my tan.
Andrea – Dental Assistant
Andrea was born in Anaheim, California but raised most of her life in southern Utah. She graduated from sun rock dental careers in 2016. She loves her job especially because she gets to work with kids, working with kids has taught her that everyday is a new adventure. She is one of our Spanish speaking assistants. When Andrea isn’t at work she’s enjoying the day with her two kids, either at a water park or enjoying a movie marathon.
Maddie – Dental Assistant

Lexie was born and raised in St. George, Utah. She studied at Southern Utah University, and recently moved back to St.George in February. She enjoys being outside, boating, hanging out with her friends and family and going on adventures. She started working here as a dental assistant in April. She loves working with kids everyday and is excited for the future.
Whitney Curtis – Front Desk Receptionist
When you come to St. George Kids Dental, Whitney will be the first person you see at the front desk. She is always smiling, has the most positive attitude, and enjoys getting to know each patient. Whitney worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist for 4 years before joining our team. She was born and raised in St. George, and she enjoys boating, being outdoors, and going shopping. Whitney looks forward to helping you and your family have a good experience here at St. George Kids Dental.
Anel – Receptionist
Nicole Carlson – Billing and Accounts Receivable
Nicole has worked in the dental field for 9 years and has been at St. George Kids Dental since we opened in 2014. Nicole loves working in the dental field but especially in pediatrics! She has experience in dental assisting, front office, treatment planning, insurance, and billing and loves being able to use her skills to help in the office wherever is needed. Nicole takes care of our insurance claims and billing at St. George Kids Dental and enjoys helping others and seeing our patients smile. Nicole enjoys being with her family: two cutest kids and the best husband!
Marquee – Treatment Coordinator
Marquee was born and raised in Salt Lake City. She moved to southern Utah in 2017 to enjoy the nice weather. Marquee briefly worked in Orthodontics before joining the team at St. George Kids Dental. She has been in the Dental Field for 3 years and loves everything it has to offer, as well as getting to work with children. When she is not in the office, she loves spending time with her two dogs and doing anything outdoors.
Amy – Administrative Team
Amy was born and raised in Southern California, she has been in the dental field for over 17 years and loves everything about the dental world! She decided to take the jump and leave California to move and raise her family in Utah 10 years ago. When Amy isn’t working at the St. George office, you may find her enjoying the sun and water at the lake or enjoying anything outdoors with her husband Ryan and 3 children Ethan, Jake & Maddy. Her hobbies consist of watching her children doing sports including racing motocross and baseball, spin, practicing her love of yoga and taking every minute of life in with her family and friends.
