Trent Pryor, DMD
Dr. Trent Pryor was raised in Cedar City, Utah and graduated from Cedar High School. He obtained his pre-dental requirements at Southern Utah University. Dr. Pryor received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2007 at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his 2-year pediatric specialty dental residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2009 and is a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Pryor grew up coaching youth sports programs and knew he wanted to be a positive influence in the life of child for the rest of his life. When not in the office, Dr. Pryor enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their three children. He also enjoys competing in triathlons as well as playing basketball, golf, and basically any other sporting activities.
Jeff Higbee, DMD
Dr. Jeff Higbee was born in Utah and raised in the small town of Cedar City. He attended Southern Utah University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. His dental school training was completed at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.
After dental school, Dr. Higbee became a board-certified pediatric dentist by completing his 2-year specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Saint Joseph’s Hospital for specialty care in Providence, Rhode Island, where he served as chief pediatric dental resident in the final year of his training. During his specialty training, Dr. Higbee enjoyed treating patients from all over the world and especially enjoyed working with patients with special health care needs, including those with cleft lip and palate, autism, down syndrome, and many others conditions.
When Dr. Higbee is not in the dental clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family, wife, and four children. He loves the outdoors, being active in the community and coaching youth sports. One interesting thing about Dr. Higbee is that he is fluent in Spanish and enjoys using this special skill to better communicate with many of his patients who speak Spanish as their first language.

Lacey Sweetwood — Office Manager
Lacey grew up in Cedar City and has moved around the state of Utah, settling in St. George. She loves the warm weather and enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids, playing at the park, hiking, and relaxing in the sun with a good book.
Lacey started her dental career shortly after high school and spent her first eight years in the back office as a dental assistant. She is now our office manager here at St. George Kids Dental. She loves being able to help families coordinate their children’s dental needs and achieve great dental health for all of the amazing kids who come into our office.
Lacey has been a great addition to our team, and we do not know what we would do without her! She keeps us all on our toes and laughing throughout the day!
Nicole Carlson – Treatment Coordinator
Nicole is our Treatment Coordinator at St. George Kids Dental, and she enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them improve their oral health. She received her dental assisting certification and has been working in dentistry for five years. Nicole has been with St. George Kids Dental since we opened in October 2014. She started as a dental assistant and has worked her way into our administrative team as the treatment coordinator. Nicole was born and raised in St. George, and she loves the outdoors and traveling with her family. Nicole had her first child in 2017. She is eager to help serve you and your children at St. George Kids Dental!
Whitney Curtis – Front Desk Receptionist
When you come to St. George Kids Dental, Whitney will be the first person you see at the front desk. She is always smiling, has the most positive attitude, and enjoys getting to know each patient. Whitney worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist for 4 years before joining our team. She was born and raised in St. George, and she enjoys boating, being outdoors, and going shopping. Whitney looks forward to helping you and your family have a good experience here at St. George Kids Dental.
Randi Goodell – Registered Dental Hygienist
Randi is from Bountiful, Utah, where she met her high school sweetheart, Chad. They moved to St. George so Randi could attend the dental hygiene program at DSU. When she is out of the office, she is either shopping or spending time outdoors with friends and family. Randi is with us full-time; she enjoys working with kids, and she loves the fact that her “job” consists of playing with children all day. One of her main goals is to make each patient feel like her best friend before they leave. We love having her around and the positive attitude she brings!
Cheyenne Sullivan – Pediatric Dental Assistant
Cheyenne was born and raised in St. George, and she has been working for St. George Kids Dental as a pediatric dental assistant since the office opened in 2014. She has been dental assisting for 5 years now, and she loves everything it has to offer. Not only has she found a love for assisting but she also found a new love for working with children. Cheyenne graduated from Dixie State University with her associate’s degree on high honor roll. When she is not working, Cheyenne likes to spend her free time outdoors, doing anything from camping, fishing, and riding horses to boating, surfing, and snowboarding. She recently married her high school sweetheart, Kaden, and together they enjoy many of the same outdoor activities, and taking care of their 12 animals. Cheyenne looks forward to helping your child achieve better oral health and a happy smile.
Luz Tellez – Pediatric Dental Assistant
Luz was born and raised in St. George, Utah, and she is someone whose positive energy and laughter is undoubtedly contagious. Luz enjoys watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and jamming out to Taylor Swift. Luz is bilingual and assists us in communicating with our Spanish-speaking patients. She has big aspirations of becoming a dental hygienist. Luz is always smiling and making other staff members laugh! We love having her as a part of our team.
Alexa Hunter – Pediatric Dental Assistant
Alexa was born and raised in Cedar City, Utah. After graduating from Cedar High and working in general dentistry for a year, she moved to St. George to attend Dixie State University. Now working as a pediatric dental assistant, she loves everything this field has to offer, as well as getting to work with children. Alexa enjoys doing just about anything outdoors, whether it is at the lake or up in the mountains. Alexa is a great addition to our team.
Sarah Louder – Pediatric Dental Assistant
Sarah is attending Dixie State University and is aspiring to become a dental hygienist. Sarah loves to spend time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves to be involved with health and wellness, and she enjoys helping people reach their fitness goals. She really enjoys at our office, and interacting with the kids!
Erin Thompson – Pediatric Dental Assistant
Erin was raised in Northern Utah, where she found her love for dentistry. Shortly after starting to work as a dental assistant in Centerville, Utah, Erin moved to St. George in hopes of becoming a dental hygienist. Erin has earned an Associate of Arts degree and will apply to the dental hygiene program at Dixie State University in January 2018. Do not be surprised if Erin makes your ice cream treats at one of the local Daily Queens! She works a second job to earn money for school, and she is proud of the fact that she is putting herself through college. Erin is a friend to everyone, and she loves children. She is very excited to be part of the St. George Kids Dental team, and she looks forward to helping your children achieve better oral health.
